Bobb Fantauzzo- Native American and Chinese Flutes, Derrin Pinto- Drums, and Aaron on electric cello play whatever they want, usually their own takes on originals and standards. Bobb is one of the few jazz players on his instrument, and it is fascinating. Their first album, Explorations, was released in 2008 and their new album, Bounce off the Moon was recently released in April 2011.

The name says it all: Tyson Allison manipulates Aaron’s cello through effects and loops, which Aaron plays against. It all started at an open improv night, and now is part of the Emperor Penguin’s regular lineup.
